Domestic and International Wire Transfer Instructions
When it’s imperative that funds arrive at a specified time, First Republic offers domestic and international wires to electronically transfer funds between banks quickly, reliably and safely.

Product details:

  • No fees on incoming wires
  • Used to make or redeem investments, remit or receive funds related to mortgage loans, and generally make or receive payments
  • Originator or beneficiary must be established First Republic client
  • Initiated only with collected funds in client’s account

Incoming Domestic U.S. Dollar Wire Transfer Instructions:

To receive U.S. dollar funds by wire transfer, please include the following information in your instructions to the originating institution:

Beneficiary: [Customer's Name]
Beneficiary: [Customer's Account Number]
Name of Bank: First Republic Bank
City and State: San Francisco, CA
ABA Routing Number: 321081669
Special Instructions (if any): [e.g. Invoice #, Loan #] 


Incoming Foreign Currency Wire Transfer Instructions:

Incoming International U.S. Dollar Wire Transfer Instructions:

To receive international U.S. dollar funds by wire transfer, please include the following information in your instructions to the originating institution:

Beneficiary: [Customer's Name]
Beneficiary: [Customer's Account Number]
Name of Bank: First Republic Bank
City and State: San Francisco, CA
SWIFT Code: FRBBUS6S
Special Instructions (if any): [e.g. Invoice #, Loan #] 


Outgoing Domestic Wire Transfer Requests for Personal Accounts:

To send an outgoing domestic wire from your personal account, follow the instructions below:

Step 1: Download and open the First Republic app and tap Move Money.

Step 2: Tap Wire money and then tap Add recipient.

Step 3: Follow the prompts to complete the transaction.

Outgoing Wire Transfer Requests for Business Accounts:

Step 1: To send a wire through Corporate Online, sign in to your account and proceed to the Wire Transfers tab.

Step 2: Select Single Wire on the top menu bar and then select what type of wire you need to send. Available wire types include:

  1. Domestic Template – saved domestic wiring instructions
  2. International Template – saved international wiring instructions
  3. One-Time Domestic – one-time domestic wire
  4. One-Time International – one-time international wire

Step 3: On the next screen, complete all required fields with details of the wire such as amount, pay from account, beneficiary, account information, etc.

Step 4: Once all required fields have been completed, click Queue.

Step 5: Within the Wire Transfers tab, the queued wire will show as ‘Pending approval.’ Corporate Administrators, or users with wire approval capability, will need to approve and release the wire payment using a digital token.
