General Information

• What’s happening with my First Republic commercial deposit account(s)?
  Effective May 25, 2024, your First Republic commercial deposit account(s) will transition to JPMorgan Chase.
• Will my account and routing numbers change?
  No, your account and routing numbers won’t change.
• Can I visit my Preferred Banking Office (PBO) to make transactions?
  Yes, you can visit your PBO for in-person transactions until May 24. Starting May 28, you can bank at any Chase branch. Visit chase.com/branch to find a location near you.
• Can I continue to transact on my commercial deposit account(s) via First Republic?
  You can continue to transact on your commercial deposit account(s) using First Republic online banking or mobile apps, in a Preferred Banking Office, or via your banker or Client Care Center at (888) 408-0288 until May 24. You will continue to have access to your funds throughout the transition; however, some services will be impacted between May 25–27.
• Who can I call if I have questions?
  Through May 27, you are welcome to contact First Republic Client Care at
  (888) 408-0288 for your banking needs.
  
  We have also set up transition teams that specialize in the specific products and services you use. You’ll find the contact information for your designated team in the communications we’re sending to you throughout the transition period. • What’s happening with my other First Republic accounts that have not yet transferred?
  Other First Republic accounts or features may transfer at different times, and you’ll receive separate communications about them, if applicable.

Connectivity Solutions
(Online Banking)

• Which JPMorgan connectivity solution will my commercial account(s) transfer to?
  Commercial deposit accounts transferring to J.P. Morgan Chase Commercial Bank will be available on Chase Connect^® and/or J.P. Morgan Access^®.
• When will I get access to the JPMorgan Chase connectivity solution and mobile app?
  We will provide Corporate Online authorized users active as of March 8 with early access to JPMorgan Chase’s connectivity solutions starting mid-April. Early access lets you customize account settings and activate money movement services so that they will be ready when you use JPMorgan Chase’s connectivity solutions for the first time on Tuesday, May 28. Be on the lookout for email and/or text notifications that will guide your setup.
  
  

  IMPORTANT: Please log in within 5 days of receiving your User ID and temporary password and token activation instructions to avoid being locked out of your JPMorgan Chase connectivity solution. If you do not log in within those 5 days, there may be a significant delay in receiving a new temporary password.
• As a Corporate Online Administrator/Security Administrator, what should I do during early access?
  Starting in mid-April, key things to do once you get early access include:

  • Entitle and add new sub-users, including at the account and product level.
  • Activate money movement services.
  • Review profile settings and personal information to ensure accuracy.
  • Set up account nicknames.
  • Set up tokens.
  • Update alert preferences.
  • Enroll in fraud protection services (e.g., Positive Pay check fraud protection services).

  Corporate Online Sub-users: Once your Corporate Online Admin entitles you, you can verify your entitlements and view accounts. Please note that money movement services will not be available until May 28.

• When can I transact on my commercial deposit account(s) using the JPMorgan Chase connectivity solutions?
  You can start transacting on your commercial deposit accounts using JPMorgan Chase’s connectivity solutions on May 28, including setting up and making payments and transfers.
• Can I continue to use First Republic Corporate Online after my commercial deposit account(s) transfer?
  Starting May 25, First Republic online banking and mobile apps will be view-only. Deposit account information will not update or reflect current balances and recent transactions. Starting May 28, you can use Chase Connect^® and/or J.P. Morgan Access^® to see current balance information and recent transactions and to manage your accounts.
  
  Note that balance and transaction information for loan and investment accounts that have not yet been transferred will continue to update on First Republic online banking and mobile apps. However, you will not be able to make any payments or transfers for those accounts via First Republic online banking or mobile apps.
• I use Quicken and/or QuickBooks to view my First Republic accounts. Will I need to take any action to maintain the connection with my account(s) after the transition?
  Yes. We recommend you create a backup file and perform a final transaction update for your First Republic accounts by May 23. From May 24-27, the connection may not be available. Starting May 28, you will need to re-establish your connection using your JPMorgan Chase login credentials and you will see up to 90 days of transaction history. If you choose to remove your First Republic accounts from the third party, you may lose access to older transaction history. For more information on how to reconnect your accounts, visit:

  • QuickBooks Desktop
  • QuickBooks Online
• I use a third-party service other than Quicken and/or QuickBooks to view my First Republic accounts. Will I need to take any action to maintain the connection with my account(s) after the transition?
  Yes. We recommend you perform a final transaction update for your First Republic accounts using your preferred third-party service by May 23. From May 24-27, the connection may not be available. Starting May 28, you will need to re-establish your connection using your JPMorgan Chase login credentials and you will see up to 90 days of transaction history. If you choose to remove your First Republic accounts from the third party, you may lose access to older transaction history.
  
  Please note: J.P. Morgan Access does not support third-party account aggregation services, and, as such, those will be unavailable after May 24.

Deposits, Payments and Transfers

• Can I make payments and transfers (e.g., online bill payments, account transfers, mobile check deposits, ACH and wires) May 25–27?
  No, you won’t be able to schedule payments from May 25–27.
• Will all my payments and transfers continue?
  • The online bill pay recipients you set up on First Republic online and mobile banking apps will transfer to JPMorgan Chase, but you will need to re-establish any recurring or future-dated bill payments scheduled to occur after May 24, 2024. You can do this in Cashflow360 on Chase Connect^® after May 27, 2024.
  • Automated electronic payments you have set up on the website of a third party (such as a utility company) to be deducted from your First Republic commercial deposit account(s) using your checking or savings account number will continue.
  • Future-dated recurring and/ or one-time payments scheduled after May 24 for wires, ACH transactions and/or internal transfers will not process and will not transfer to JPMorgan Chase. Recurring and/or one-time payments scheduled for after May 24 will need to be reestablished on Chase Connect® and/or J.P. Morgan Access^® starting May 28.
• Will my ACH, Wire and/or Bill Payment payees transfer to JPMorgan Chase?
  ACH, Wire and Bill Payment payees as of May 24 will transfer to Chase Connect^®. ACH and Wire payees as of May 4 will transfer to J.P. Morgan Access^®. You can use these to set up payments on the JPMorgan Chase connectivity platforms starting May 28. Please note that Bill Pay payees may continue to transfer over May 27–31 and FX wire templates will not transfer to JPMorgan Chase.
  
  

  Bill Center users: Bill Center payees will not transfer over to JPMorgan Chase. Within the next few weeks, a JPMorgan Chase Client Integration Support team member will reach out to assist you with the upcoming transition of your commercial deposit account(s) to JPMorgan Chase, including enrollment in Cashflow360 bill pay service.
• What is changing for manual wires?
  Starting May 28, you will need to send wires through JPMorgan Chase’s connectivity solutions. JPMorgan Chase does not accept wire requests by phone. Sending wires online is more secure, convenient, and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Wire requests from deposit accounts on Chase Connect^® will incur a $500 processing fee if not completed online. Wire requests from deposit accounts on J.P. Morgan Access^® can only be completed online.

• Will recurring ACH debits & credits continue?
  Recurring ACH debits and credits initiated by third parties will continue to process. ACH transactions initiated through First Republic online banking and mobile apps will not continue and will need to be set up on JPMorgan Chase’s online platforms starting May 28.

• Can I continue to use my First Republic checks?
  Yes, you can continue to use your First Republic–branded checks until they run out.

Statements and Documents

• Will I be able to access copies of past First Republic statements?
  Up to 7 years of previous First Republic deposit account statements will transfer to JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. Up to 24 months of previous First Republic deposit account statements and 24 months of transaction history will be viewable online on Chase Connect^®. For commercial deposit accounts transferring to J.P. Morgan Access^®, previous First Republic deposit account statements and transaction history will not be viewable, however, they can be requested as needed.
  
  Please note: You can access and save up to 18 months of First Republic transaction history and up to seven (7) years of First Republic historical statements and documents on First Republic Banking Online and Corporate Online. Your information will roll off over time. These platforms will be retired in the future, but we will notify you ahead of time.
• Will my First Republic paperless preference for statements transfer to Chase?
  Paperless preferences will transfer to J.P. Morgan Access^®. For commercial deposit accounts transferring to Chase Connect^®, your paperless preference will not transfer, and you will need to re-enroll after May 27.

Access and Security

• Will my fraud alerts carry over automatically?
  No, you will need to enroll and activate fraud alerts on Chase Connect^® and/or J.P. Morgan Access^® as soon as your accounts transition.
• Will I automatically receive ACH Fraud Prevention Services and Check Fraud Prevention Services?
  No, if you were enrolled in these services at First Republic, you will need to re-enroll after your account transitions. Once you re-enroll in these services, your outstanding check register and/or ACH rules will transfer over.
  
  Check and ACH Positive Pay users: On May 28, you will need to log in to First Republic Corporate Online to decision any exception items presented. You can continue to use the service on JPMorgan Chase’s connectivity solutions moving forward.

• Will my security token work on my new Chase account?
  No, if you currently use a security token to access your account, and will require one after the transition, your token will need to be replaced. Reference the email sent to authorized users starting in mid-April for more information.

Debit and ATM Cards

• Will I still be able to use my First Republic debit or ATM card during the transition on May 24-27?
  Yes, continue to use your First Republic debit card until you receive your new Chase debit or ATM card. Some transaction limits may apply, so we encourage you to plan ahead for any large purchases and cash needs between May 24-27.
• When will Chase send our new debit and ATM cards?

  Continue to use your First Republic debit or ATM card until you receive your new Chase card in early June. Your new card:

  • Will have the same PIN but a different card number and expiration date.
  • May have different purchase and withdrawal limits than you have today.
• When will my First Republic debit card stop working?
  Your First Republic debit or ATM card will stop working on July 15 or once you activate your new Chase card.
• Will ATM access be the same during the transition?

  First Republic ATMs may not be available or may have limited functionality. We will make every effort to minimize ATM disruptions, but please plan ahead for any potential ATM needs.

  • You will continue to have no-fee access to Chase ATMs. Find Chase ATM locations near you.
  • You should continue to have non-Chase ATM access. Fees may apply.
  • You may see an incorrect balance at the ATM while your accounts transfer to Chase.

Discontinued Services

• Will all my First Republic account-related services be available at Chase?
  Not all services will be available, and some will change. Reference the emails sent to authorized users starting in late February and visit JPMorgan Chase's Integration Welcome Center. for more information.
