Each transaction performed with the ATM/Debit Card is fully described on your monthly account statement showing the date, location, and transaction amount.

Verified by Visa is a FREE service that provides additional security for your online purchases.
It allows you to protect your existing First Republic ATM/Debit Card with a personal password. Since you are the only person who knows your password, only you can make online purchases from participating merchants. - Suspicious Activity Freeze
ATM/Debit Cards will be temporarily "frozen" at the first sign of suspicious activity. We will attempt to contact you by phone first, but if we are unable to reach you, we will freeze the card for your protection. This "hold" action is to ensure that your account is not accessed improperly.
Should your card be frozen, know that you can call us immediately—24/7—toll free at (800) 262-2024 to review the suspicious transactions. (If out of the country, call collect: (973) 682-2652.)
*Owners of ATM networks may impose a charge for withdrawals. Where this is the practice, the charge will be displayed on the ATM and will be included as part of the daily withdrawal limit. First Republic Bank does not charge its customers for ATM transactions.
